Happy 75th Grandaddy!

My wonderful grandaddy was 75 years young on Thanksgiving Day. Our family got together to celebrate his BIG day a few weekends ago with good food and Crimson Tide Football (two of my most favorite things!).

It was great to spend time with our family. Jacie was home from school so the only ones MIA were Josh and Rachel. We had fish that Jimmy, Austin, and Ethan caught that day. Austin caught a 7 1/2 lb catfish! We also had Oysters (which just really look like elephant boogers), Chick-fil-a nuggets (Yum Yum!), and lots of cheese grits and some other yummy things. According to Anthony and Dustin, Grandma made her best pecan pie EVER!

We all ate outside and enjoy the awesome fall weather. Sweet little Aaden loved being outside and fell asleep in my grandma's arms. It was just a great time hanging out together. My family sees each other all the time but it seems like someone is always in a hurry, or rushing out the door and we never really just enjoy being together (wow, I am normally not that cheesy- maybe it is the sleep deprivation!)

Happy Birthday Grandaddy!

6 Months

I cannot believe Aaden has been here for 6 months! Sometimes it seems like we just found out the he was on his way and other times I can't remember life without him!

He has been a busy little guy the last 6 months.
Coming home from the hospital. He was so small he barely fit in his carrier!

Learning high powered Karate moves! HI YUH!

And learning to eat lots of new things!

He came into this world weighing 5.5 lbs and now he weighs 16.8! He loves to eat veggies, not sure where he got that from! He is still not sleeping through the night but we all 3 enjoy the time we get to spend together (even at 4 a.m.). Anthony and I are thankful to GOD everyday for our little miracle. He is the most precious gift in the world and we could not imagine our lives without him.

Happy Halloween and The Roaming Gnome

This was Aaden's first Halloween! Usually Anthony and I just have to settle for dressing up George!

We took him to Wendy Jones Photography http://www.wjonesphotography.com/, where she had a special if you brought in canned food- that covered your sitting fee and she took your pic in your costume. We were in and out in 5 minutes and he did so good! My sister was there with her cowboy and her ninja. His pics will be up this Friday and I can't wait to see how they turned out.
Then we came home and Anthony's Parents came over. We dressed Aaden up and took lots of pictures. Then we went over to my grandparents' house for chili and to pass out candy. I did not pass out any candy because Aaden had another type of passing out in mind! He needed a power nap! Normally my whole family is at Grandma's for Halloween but this year there were some
missing faces. I guess with so many in our family it is getting harder for everyone to be together.
